Windsurfing
Windsurfing started to gain popularity back in the late 70’s and early 80’s, when European excitement over the U.S.-born sport led to dozens of new brands of “sailboards”. Windsurfing originated in 1968 when two Southern Californians (one a sailor, one a surfer) decided to create a hybrid of their respective sports. Today it is a highly popular activity that attracts people from all walks of life.
